You will see recreational complex “Oškrogs”, if you drive from Rīga along the left bank of the river Daugava. This complex is located in a picturesque country side near the small river Līčupe , at 1 km distance from Ķegums HES (highway Rīga- Jaunjelgava) and it offers to guests 4 buildings for recreation and celebration: café with 3 halls, where we can serve 20, 30 and 80 guests; bath-house; garages for guests’ cars and night quarters for guests. Now it is under construction and soon we will opene hotel “Zaiga”. There is a playground for children in the complex as well as special place for tents. All buildings are constructed by Artur Freimanis’s original project and with financial support of «Latvijas Hipotēku un zemes banka». Not far from the complex guests will find wild possibilities for fishing (commercial fishing on two farms , river Daugava), picturesque forests, cultural-historical places (Lielvārde, Lindes park), museum of Ķegums HES, deer-raising farm.
